1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SMS JournalHub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
SMS JournalHub provides a cloud-based journal management platform for manuscript submission, peer review, publication, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: upload plagiarised or fraudulent content, violate intellectual property rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access, use the platform for unlawful purposes, interfere with the platform's operation, or resell access without authorisation.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit. By using the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the service. Published articles remain the intellectual property of the authors/publishers as defined in their publishing agreements.
6. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase. Failure to pay may result in account suspension.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
8. Disclaimers & Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet all your requirements. We are not responsible for the content published by journals using our platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMS JournalHub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMS JournalHub from any claims arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
